Regional Support Center Opens in Latin America with Strong Backing
The Regional Center for the Support of the Global Compact in Latin America and the Caribbean was launched today at an event that drew participation from the private and public sectors throughout the Latin American region. 115 members of the regional business community and Government leaders attended the launch held at the Presidential Palace in Bogota.

The third Leaders Summit for the United Nations Global Compact was held in New York from 23 to 25 June. The Forum Foundation, in charge of the Barcelona Center for the Support of the UN Global Compact, attended the meeting and organized a breakfast-debate for participants with operations in Latin America as part of the side-events of the Summit.

La Academia Sueca destacó su capacidad para "volver comprensible una realidad huidiza, con parábolas sostenidas por la imaginación, la compasión y la ironía".
